CLUB FAQ'S & 2026 SEASON OUTLOOK

RECRUITING POLICY

Wichita Ignite Volleyball Club follows all HOA recruiting rules and timelines.

We do not guarantee team placement prior to tryouts and do not engage in prohibited recruiting activities.

Team Structure

For the 2026 season, Wichita Ignite plans to field teams in the following age divisions:

  • Age Groups: (12U-18U)

  • Note: Final team formations are subject to coaching availability and athlete turnout during HOA and AAU sanctioned tryouts.

Practice & Training Schedule

  • Location: SHRED Gym located in Calvary Chapel Fellowship. Official home of Wichita Ignite VBC.

  • Frequency: Teams will practice (2-3) times per week. Strength conditioning, weights and agility training with full access to a brand-new sports recovery room featuring cold and compression therapy (1-2) times per week.

Investment & Fees

We believe in providing structured training with clear financial expectations.

  • Total Club Dues: $650-$1200 (see table below)

  • What’s Included: Coaching fees, tournament entry fees, custom Mizuno uniform/merch package, media day, team activities, and personal fitness training with our partner SHRED Gym.

  • Payment Schedule: A deposit of $250 is due upon commitment, followed by monthly payments due the 31st each month. 

  • Additional Costs: Travel expenses (hotels/gas) and the mandatory HOA/USAV Membership – Fee set annually by HOA/USAV at registration, AAU Membership – Fee set by AAU at time of registration. Athletes are responsible for registering directly through each governing body.

HOA-sanctioned tryouts require current HOA/USAV membership and proof at check-in.
AAU membership may be required depending on event participation.

  • TRYOUT COMPLIANCE NOTICE

    All athletes must have a current HOA/USAV membership prior to participation in tryouts and must provide proof of membership at check-in.

    Tryouts will follow all HOA/AAU guidelines, including:
    • Tryout Fee: $15.00 (FREE T-Shirt)
    • Evaluation based on skill, effort, and coachability

    Team offers will be extended in accordance with HOA policies and timelines. Wichita Ignite operates with integrity and transparency throughout the tryout process. No shortcuts. No promises. Just earned opportunities.

CLUB PRICING

Behind every service we provide is a dedicated team of honest, hardworking professionals, each bringing their unique expertise and enthusiasm to our business.

Each athlete will receive elite conditioning training including core full functional strength training with Certified Fitness Trainer, Coach Dibbs, and access to SHRED Gym's all-new athletic recovery room.

All teams will practice 2-3 times per week, ranging from 1.5-2 hours each practice. Each player will also receive 12, 1-hour, weekly sessions with our Certified Fitness Trainer.

Teams will practice 2-4 per week, ranging from 1.5-2 hours each practice. Each player will also receive weekly training sessions with our Certified Fitness Trainer.

Club pricing includes a deposit up front, upon acceptance and a low monthly payment for the remainder of the fees.

The safety of its participants is of paramount importance to USA Volleyball. Wichita Ignite Volleyball Club is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for all athletes.

  • USA Volleyball has a ZERO TOLERANCE for abuse and misconduct. This includes not only on-court safety, but also off-court safety in any part of USA Volleyball’s programs.
  • USA Volleyball is committed to creating safe and fun environments for youth. This includes, but is not limited to, providing training, educational materials and resources for our regions, clubs, coaches and parents.

Athlete safety is not optional—it’s our standard.
